Matching pairs game pour Pâques
A fun game for reinforcing Easter vocab. Cards need to be printed twice & laminated. The object of the game is to find 2 cards that match. Each time a card is turned over, the player musy say in French what image is on the card.

Les cartes de Joyeuses Pâques
A selection of Easter cards to colour. I have made them so they can be simply printed on card and folded in half. Alternatively print on white paper and glue onto coloured card. For more able children, instructions could be given as to what colours to use to colour in the pictures. To say 'love from' the French say 'grosses bises' or 'bons baisers'. Joyeuses Pâques à tous. Le Grand Livre des Monsieur et Madame
A fun way to learn colours and numbers in French or any other foreign language. Adult gives instruction as to what colour a Mr Men character has to be coloured. Also useful for teaching the body parts, nose and hair and hat. I am currently working with 3 year olds in a nursery and have used these worksheets to teach the expressions: je suis and j'ai. Reading comprehension describing where a variety of characters live. Revises: greetings, my name is, age, homes, location, countries, pets, rooms in a house, shops and places in a town, also a brief mention of what clothes someone is / is not wearing. I thought this worksheet would consolidate much of the work we have been covering recently. (My students are 9 & 10 years old.) I have also included a worksheet of questions.
French Lotto Game
Playing lotto is a fun way for very young children to practise a range of vocabulary in any language. With older children they can be asked 'Qui a ....?&'. They reply &';J'ai ........&'. An activity where the children have to design a healthy meal and an unhealthy meal in French. I thought this made a pleasant change from making lists of words. Où sont les animaux?
Simple 'gap-fill&' exercise to practice the use of du/de la and de l&'; when using the prepositions: à côté de/près de and en face de. Worksheet also uses the preposition 'entre&'. Vocabulary concentrates on places in a town and shops. Students should have fun saying where each animal is.
